1. The Beautiful Views, Surroundings and Location
Perched atop a breezy Oceanside hill within the
exclusive gated community of Mahogany Run Golf Village
on St. Thomas’ cool north side, Mahogany
Breeze Villa offers a secure retreat from the beaten
tourist track. Every room at Mahogany Breeze treats
you to a panoramic sea vista sprinkled with green islands
and cays. It’s what the Virgin Islands are
all about….tropical paradise, enchanting blue
seas. The lush gardens, coconut palms, colorful flora, turquoise
water, whale watching in the winter, catching the awesome
sight of double rainbows, and relaxing on the terrace makes
this the paradise that we love. Visitors looking
for lots of nightlife and crowds might be happier staying
at a busy resort. For us, the best things about Mahogany
Breeze are the comfort the vacation condo provides,
the awesome panoramic ocean views, and the quiet,
beautiful surroundings.
 
2. The Accommodations
The living, dining, kitchen, both bedroom suites and master
bath are all ocean side, offering beautiful
views of the neighboring islands and the
British Virgin Islands. Mahogany
Breeze is bright and fun, decorated in “shabby”
Caribbean chic decor. The well-equipped
kitchen includes just about anything the cook in you desires...
appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, gas cook-top,
refrigerator-freezer with ice maker, cookware, blender,
cooking utensils and serving items, and many other extras.
The bedrooms have been furnished with good quality linens.
There is a full size washer/dryer for laundry needs, along
with an iron and ironing board. The master suite and the
guest suite are both oceanside with their
own private baths and balconies. The master suite has a
beautiful ocean view even from its tub/shower.
3. The Extras
Although we have the wonderful north trade winds blowing
thru the villa, for our guest’s comfort,
Mahogany Breeze is air-conditioned in both
bedroom suites and in the living area. Bring your notebook
computer. Mahogany Breeze provides DSL
internet access. If you venture out for a day of sightseeing,
Mahogany Breeze offers a secure retreat
with gated security so you don’t have worry about
your personal belongings while you’re out & about.
There is premium-package cable TV and a library of VHS titles
to choose from, plus a DVD and CD player. There are several
board games, cards and dining and visitor attraction guides
to assist you with your vacation plans.
There is on-site parking for 2 vehicles. We have mid-week
housekeeping service available if this is your desire. We
also have pre-arrival grocery provisioning and various other
concierge services available upon request. If you visit
us in Feb/March you can sit on the balcony and catch of
glimpse of the migrating humpback whales frolicking in the
azure seas while sipping your morning cup of coffee. Enjoy
the superb sunsets as the grand finale to every sunny vacation
day you spend in American paradise.
4. The Owners
We are two beach-loving families who own Mahogany Breeze
Villa. We began vacationing in
St. Thomas in 1995 as a family and have returned every
year, always bringing other friends and families with us
to discover and enjoy the beauty of St. Thomas. We
wanted to share the US Virgin Island experience with
others and placed Mahogany Breeze Villa on the vacation
rental market in September of 2005. We personally took
every villa photo on our website. What you view in
the photos is what you can expect to find when you arrive.
We keep our online availability calendar updated with every
new reservation, and our website updated with current information
and photos. Renting a vacation home is not like making
a hotel reservation. Hotels have reputations to preserve,
and they are usually established businesses that you know
exist. When contracting to rent a vacation home,
there is basically a "I trust you, you trust me"
situation that is very different. As a property owner,
we are trusting that guests will respect and care for our
second home, follow the guest policies that have
been agreed to, and be responsible guests. As a renter,
you may have concerns about a property being over-stated
in advertisements, arriving and discovering that you have
rented something that is not to your liking, or in the worst
case scenario, arriving and finding no place to stay. Our
business depends on guest satisfaction. What you see on
our website is what you can expect to find at our home...
no more, no less. This is as it should be. The property
was purchased with the intention of having it as our semi-permanent
residence at some point in the future. We have no plans
to sell. The condo will be there today, tomorrow
and years from today, with us as the owners. We are building
a reputation as a great rental at a great price.
We intend to keep it this way. Repeat business and referrals
by way of guest satisfaction is our goal.
 
5. Most Important….The Value
Mahogany Breeze Villa is a perfect place
in paradise for casual relaxation at an
excellent value....removed from the beaten tourist track,
the panoramic views from the villa, a short
drive to the beaches, restaurants
and shopping, the additional space and privacy that a fully
equipped vacation home will provide, unlike
any hotel room could... the list is endless. The reasons
for choosing a vacation rental over a hotel
are obvious. We designed and equipped Mahogany Breeze
to be our own special vacation home-away-from-home and we
believe you will find it to exceed your expectations.
We can accommodate from one on up to six guests at a time.
Whatever number, most everyone enjoys their vacation.
The "perfect" guests are those that are looking
for a well-appointed ocean side home in
relaxed, beautiful surroundings. These are guests looking
for nearby beaches, nearby hiking, horseback
riding and similar activities, nearby shopping, onsite golf,
although almost any activity on St. Thomas
can be reached by car within 15 minutes or less from Mahogany
Breeze. Whether you are an individual or a family
of six, there is something to offer for everyone. |
